When that poop guy (yes, Elon) decided to buy Twitter, Lou asked me, if I wanna support her with a new Mastodon instance, I said yes. I didn’t expect that Twitter is going to turn out that bad, but, yeah. it’s been pretty bad on the birdsite now.

I’m happy to support the instance as a moderator and administrator. It’s definitely not perfect and far from, uh, “industry best practices”, but it’s working. It’s our baby and it’s comfy.

Nonetheless, improving the infrastructure by leveraging IoC tools like Terraform is planned. Luckily, Hetzner, our cloud storage provider provides a good tooling for that.
