Description

The team of the Queer Lexikon wanted a map to show organizations and places for queer youth. The Regenbogenkarte (literal translation: rainbow map) is the result of that. It’s working entirely client-side to ensure that nothing leaves the current browser session.

The code is fairly simple, there’s not much complexity besides the leaflet integration. It’s a good example for a “modern” application which does not rely on the complexity of client-side frameworks.

Funfact: The “internal” name tra-la-card, which is used as a page title, is a reference to à la carte.
